Laura makes a discovery involving Maddie Pruitt that lead her down a rabbit hole about a billionaire, his son, and a basketball team. Stephanie's upset at the Love Island reunion. And Tyler, who's feeling better this week, actually gives details about his trip to Boston.
We're all pretty fed up with Jenn's decisions on this season of The Bachelorette. And we unfortunately only have one episode of Big Brother to really talk about because we recorded late last week, but what an episode it was!

Pale Girl Summer

We promise you, we're not becoming a bi-weekly podcast. We've just had a string of very bad luck recently that's kept us from recording. But we are back again and ready to talk shows!
Laura starts share time off with a story about Target she's been holding onto for a while and takes advice from a friend about not avoiding politics as much on the show. Stephanie talks about giving The Affair a chance (after trying a few times before) strictly because of Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan's podcast. And Tyler, who isn't feeling great, gives a VERY brief rundown of his trip to Boston. More from that will come next week when he feels better.
Then we Laura and Stephanie talk about The Bachelorette because Tyler ejected from it. We discuss how Sam M can't form sentences to save his life and are SHOOK that Jenn didn't immediately walk him out after some very stupid things he said.

Sorry for taking another week off, but people weren't feeling good and frankly, nothing really happened on The Bachelorette and Big Brother last week, but we still touched on a few things just to give y'all the important info.
But as always, we start with Share Time! Laura talks about a couple of movies she's watched, one good and one not good. Tyler actually has a story about how saving a snake became more of a problem than it should've been. And Stephanie take's Tyler's place on the short Share Time by telling us how her learning Spanish on Duo Lingo is going.
And onto our shows! We still really don't like any of the guys on The Bachelorette and mostly talk about why this season hasn't been good and start to question on whether or not we're going to keep watching. Big Brother, on the other hand, was SUPER entertaining and quite unhinged to be honest! But we're here for every second of it.

It's week two of Jenn's season of The Bachelorette and this week we have the added commentary of Laura's parents because she watched it at their house!
Laura starts Share Time by talking about watching all of the Saw movies and her thoughts on them, Tyler makes an unfortunate discovery about aging, and we guide Stephanie into making up something to talk about on the spot by somehow getting into the topic of books.
Then we get into this weeks episode of The Bachelorette, which was honestly kind of boring with the exception of some villain energy, but Laura mixes in her parents' reaction to seeing the show for the first time to add some much needed entertainment value.

Texas Broke The Internet

I know we said last week that we're going to be uploading on Tuesdays now, but we're also recording on Tuesdays and the entire state of Texas lost internet all day on Tuesday, so we had to reschedule. But here we are! And so are several men that we don't like that our lovely Bachelorette, Jenn, has the misfortune of picking from!
But first; Share Time! Laura tells a tale of how stupid people are in her local community Facebook group, Stephanie discovers the incredible Lifetime show "Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up" and we discuss how she and others have handled her media attention since being freed, and Tyler makes an apology for weird shit that happened in last weeks episode that couldn't be fixed, but hopefully are fixed this week!
Then it's on to Jenn's introduction to all the men on this season of The Bachelorette and how few of them are actually likeable people. Who are the lucky few? Who goes home? What kind of predictions do we make after one episode? Tune in and find out!

Nothing But Tangents

To be honest, we forgot to plan something for this episode. So this one is ALLLLLL Share Time!
I can't even really map out what we talked about because it mostly just tangent after tangent with a very loose structure of who's turn it is guide the conversation. Just some nice conversation between three friends who haven't seen each other in about a week and a half and catching up what we've been up to.

Squirrel!

It's time for another movie we love that Tyler hasn't seen! This week we watched Saved!
For Share Time, Laura talks about her family letting her dog terrorize/play tag with a squirrel and also shows some adorable pictures of her dog (check out the YouTube video for some adorableness), Stephanie tells about a restaurant she went to called Darkside Pizza that we all fall in love with and even plugs the owner's YouTube channel, and Tyler goes on yet another rant about rude customers and their misplaced sense of entitlement.
Then we get into Saved!, including Laura and Stephanie having a revelation about it despite having seen it numerous times. And we get Tyler's thoughts on his first time viewing it as well as get into several tangents, mostly about the show Weeds.

Laura discusses her newest binge watch; Seventh Heaven and how it doesn't necessarily age well, but it definitely aged hilariously, Stephanie tells us about how good both versions of Summerhouse are right now and how much she recommends them both, and Tyler teases one of the Netflix documentaries he watched this week called American Nightmare and the wild tale that it focuses on.

We're Sober This Time

Laura and Tyler are back again because everybody's taking turns getting sick apparently and we can't have our usual three person podcast anymore. But this time we're sober and we don't ramble on for three hours!
We DO however ramble a little bit during Laura's share time which starts with her talking about watching Scream Queens, but its not the one she thought she was going to watch and somehow made its way into Laura's experience with the Saw franchise and how the first one is apparently "unholy". Then Tyler congratulates the three of us as a podcast and thanks you lovely listeners for crossing 1000 downloads a few weeks ago and how he kept forgetting to bring it up over the last few episodes.
This week's Vanderpump was probably the best episode of the season so far and it's a damn reunion episode?!? We only have one episode left and we talk about what we think of the future of the show and some of it's cast members. Speaking of one episode left, it's also the penultimate episode of The Valley, which Laura hasn't watched in a couple weeks. So Tyler stumbles his way through recapping the important parts of last week for her and then this week's episode while also wishing he hadn't been watching it. Then it's the Survivor finale! Which is one show we've actually enjoyed this season of and we give our thoughts on who's the villain, who won/deserved to win, and Laura catches us up on some of the drama that's happened after filming.
